ONA: Her Glow Up Goal Tracker is an iPhone and Android app for changing your life one area at a time. You score eight areas of your life, pick the one that needs you most, and give it a chapter, 7 days to start: one small thing a day toward it, with daily rituals and side quests alongside. ### Who is ONA for? Women who want all of it: the career, the savings, the friends, [the glow up](https://onaglowup.app/for/glow-up). Chasing all eight areas at once is how everything gets dropped by Thursday, so ONA gives you one to work on while the rest waits its turn. It’s for adults, 18 and over. ### Who makes ONA? ONA is built and run by Darja Orlova, based in Latvia, in the EU. Questions go to support@onaglowup.app. ### How does ONA work? You score eight areas on a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel): Career, Health, Wealth, Social, Growth, Fun, Self Image and Home. Pick one and set a small goal for a chapter, 7 days to start. Each morning you choose today’s one thing toward it, and each evening a check-in logs what you did, your mood and a line for your journal. When the chapter ends, you get a magazine-style issue of it. Every step, with the app’s screens, is on the [How it works](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works) page, and the [guides](https://onaglowup.app/for) show it at work on a glow up, getting your life together and staying consistent. ### How much does ONA cost? After setup, ONA needs a subscription: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. The price for your country is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your store account. More on the [pricing page](https://onaglowup.app/pricing). ### Which phones does ONA work on? ONA runs on iPhone with iOS 15 or later and on Android phones, and you get it from the App Store or Google Play. There’s no web version. ### Does ONA use AI or show ads? No. ONA has no AI features and no ads, and it doesn’t track you across other apps. You don’t make an account, and Settings > Account > Erase everything deletes your data whenever you like. ### Who can see my journal? Your journal and moods are stored with Google Firebase under an anonymous account, and security rules let only that account read them. Your photos are stored under the same account and open through private, unguessable links. The app’s analytics never records what you write, your mood or your photos, and nothing goes to other people unless you share a day or a page of an issue yourself. Settings > Account > Erase everything deletes all of it. More in the [Privacy Policy](https://onaglowup.app/privacy). ### How is ONA different from a habit tracker? A habit tracker gives you a list of habits to keep up across your whole life at once. ONA works on one area at a time: one goal for the chapter, one small thing a day toward it and up to three daily rituals, with a fourth once you hold a 7-day streak. The other areas wait their turn, and your wheel shows how they move between chapters. If you want to track lots of habits with detailed stats, a habit tracker is the better fit. You score eight areas on a life wheel, pick one and set a small goal for a chapter: 7 days to start. Each day you take one small step toward it, keep up to three daily rituals (a fourth opens at a 7-day streak) and close the evening with a check-in. When the chapter ends, you get a magazine-style issue of it and pick the next area. ### What is the life wheel? It’s where your first chapter starts. You score the eight areas of your life from 1 to 10, as they are right now. ONA suggests your lowest area for the chapter, and you can pick any other. At the end of every chapter you score the wheel again, so you can see what moved, and the next chapter starts from those scores. [The wheel of life](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) has more on it, and one you can score yourself. - Career: Work, study, whatever you’re building. - Health: Sleep, food, movement, how your body feels. - Wealth: Money in, money out, and what’s left over. - Social: Family, friends, and how close you actually feel. - Growth: What you’re learning, and who it’s making you. - Fun: What you do purely because you like it. - Self Image: How you talk to yourself when nobody’s listening. - Home: Where you live, and how it feels to come back to. ### What’s a chapter? A chapter is one area and one goal: something small and realistic, written in one sentence. Your first chapter is 7 days. Two-week chapters open once you’ve earned 700 Focus XP, and month-long ones at 2,100 (more on XP below). A chapter counts only the days you log, so a missed day makes it run a day longer, unless you choose to let that day go. You can add a photo to aim for, too. ### What do you do each day? Each morning you choose today’s one thing: one real step toward your goal, small enough to finish by tonight. Ticking it off pays 50 Focus XP. Alongside it you keep up to three daily rituals, small habits that each belong to an area of your wheel. Each tick pays 10 Discipline XP, and a fourth ritual opens once you hold a 7-day streak. ### What are side quests? One-off things you’ve been meaning to get to, like cooking something new or swimming somewhere cold. Write your own, give it an area of your wheel and add a photo if you like. There’s no deadline and no limit. Do them whenever the mood’s right, and each one pays 5 Spark XP. For somewhere to start, there are [side quest ideas](https://onaglowup.app/for/side-quests) sorted by area of your life. ### What happens in the evening check-in? From 18:00, a button on Home opens the check-in, which closes your day in two steps. First you tick off what happened: the one thing, your rituals and any side quests. It’s fine if that’s none of them. Then how it felt: a mood from 20 faces, your energy (running low, half full or charged), a line for your journal and a photo of the day. All of it is optional. Your day is then printed as a card you can keep on your timeline in Progress, or share. ### How do XP and streaks work? Everything you tick earns points, called XP, in three kinds: Focus for the one thing, Discipline for rituals and Spark for side quests. A ritual in your chapter’s own area earns Focus XP too, and Focus XP is what opens longer chapters. Every day you log adds one to your streak. Miss a day and the safety net covers it, so the streak holds. The net comes back 7 days after you use it. Miss another day before then and the streak starts again, unless you fill that day in later. The guide to [staying consistent](https://onaglowup.app/for/stay-consistent) has more on the day you miss. ### What happens when a chapter ends? The morning after your last day, your chapter arrives as an issue: a magazine you turn page by page. It has your numbers, your rituals, the steps you took toward the goal, your photos, side quests and moods. Inside, you score your wheel again. ONA suggests new scores from what you did, and you decide. You answer three questions that only you can see. The last page puts the issue on your shelf, and you can share it as an image. Then you pick the area for your next chapter. You can also end a chapter early from Settings > Close chapter early. ### Can you look back at past days? Yes, in History. Photos shows each day’s photo, or your words or your mood when there isn’t one, and plays your days back as stories. Calendar shows each chapter as a band across the month in its area’s colour. Shelf keeps every past chapter. ### Does ONA send reminders? If you want it to. A morning nudge reminds you to choose your one thing, and an evening one reminds you to check in. They come at 08:00 and 21:00 until you change them in Settings. Your phone schedules them itself, and the app works the same without them. ### What ONA isn’t - A to-do list or a planner. One thing a day, and everything else waits. - A standalone mood tracker or diary. Your mood and journal line are part of each evening’s check-in, inside the chapter you’re in. - An AI coach or a chatbot. There’s no AI in ONA. - A vision board maker. Each chapter can have one photo to aim for, and that’s it. ### When is another app a better fit? - To track lots of habits at once, with detailed stats: a dedicated habit tracker. - To write long journal entries: a journaling app. - To plan your day hour by hour: a planner or a calendar. - Not sure? [Side by side with Finch, Me+, Habitica and five more](https://onaglowup.app/compare) says who each is better for. ### Is ONA free? It’s free to download and set up. To start your first chapter, ONA needs a subscription: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The App Store or Google Play shows the price for your country before you pay. More on the [pricing page](https://onaglowup.app/pricing). ### Can I work on more than one area at once? Not in one ONA chapter: it has one area and one goal. Your rituals and side quests can belong to any area, so the rest of your wheel still gets some attention. ### What if I miss a day? Nothing breaks. The next morning, ONA asks on Home whether to fill the day in or let it go. Leave it open and the chapter runs a day longer, since it counts the days you log, and you can fill it in later from the calendar. The safety net covers one missed day a week, so your streak holds. ### Do I need an account? No. There’s no email, password or social sign-in: ONA signs you in anonymously with a random ID. What it keeps, and why, is in the [Privacy Policy](https://onaglowup.app/privacy). ### Does ONA use AI or show ads? No to both. The scores ONA suggests at the end of a chapter come from fixed rules about what you did, and you have the final say. ### Which phones does ONA work on? ONA runs on iPhone with iOS 15 or later and on Android phones. There’s no web version. ### What language is ONA in? ONA is in English, for now. ## The wheel of life, explained Page: https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel The wheel of life is a coaching exercise for seeing how every part of your life is going at once. You split a circle into eight areas, like career, health and money, score how satisfied you are with each from 1 to 10, and shade each slice out to its score. The short slices show which area needs you most. It takes a few minutes, and coaches have used it for decades. ### What is the wheel of life? A self-check coaches often start with: a circle split into areas of life, like career, health and money, each shaded out to how satisfied you are with it right now. The finished shape shows what’s going well and what’s been left behind. It’s credited to Paul J. Meyer, who founded the Success Motivation Institute in 1960. Leadership Management International, a company he also founded, still uses a six-area version and holds “Wheel of Life” as a trademark in the US; ONA isn’t connected with it. The eight-area wheel most people know grew out of coaching practice later, and coaching guides encourage adapting the areas to your life. The Buddhist wheel of life, the bhavachakra, is something else: a teaching image about the cycle of rebirth that happens to share the name. ### What are the 8 areas of life? There’s no official list. The eight most coaching guides start from are career, money, health, friends and family, romance, personal growth, fun and your surroundings. ONA’s eight are close to those, with Self Image in place of romance. Each comes with a question to help you score it. - Career: Work, study, whatever you’re building. On Sunday night, how much are you looking forward to Monday? - Health: Sleep, food, movement, how your body feels. How do you feel when you wake up on most mornings? - Wealth: Money in, money out, and what’s left over. Do you know where last month’s money went, and would you spend it the same way again? - Social: Family, friends, and how close you actually feel. Who would you call with good news, and when did you last call them? - Growth: What you’re learning, and who it’s making you. What have you learned lately because you wanted to? - Fun: What you do purely because you like it. When did you last lose an afternoon to something you enjoy? - Self Image: How you talk to yourself when nobody’s listening. What does the voice in your head say when you slip up? - Home: Where you live, and how it feels to come back to. What’s the first thing you notice when you walk in? Other versions use anywhere from six to ten areas, often splitting friends and family apart, or adding spirituality or giving back. Whichever you use, score the same ones each time, so you can compare. ### How do you score the wheel of life? Give each area a number from 1 to 10 for how satisfied you are with it today: 1 is not at all, and 10 is as good as you’d want it. Take the first number that comes to you, before the one you think it should be. A 10 means different things to different people. If you’re stuck on an area, picture what a 10 would look like for you and score against that. Some guides score the time or attention each area gets instead, and some start at 0. Any of these works if you score the same way every time. When you first score your wheel in ONA, it asks “Where are you right now?” and goes from 1 to 10. ### How do you read your wheel of life? Look at the shape first. Coaches ask: if this were a real wheel, how bumpy would the ride be? Most people’s first wheel is lopsided. A balanced wheel isn’t all 10s, and some seasons ask more of one area, so a dip there can be fine. Look out for surprises: if a score came out lower than you expected, start by asking why. Three questions to ask your wheel: - Which score surprised you most? - Which area, if it moved, would lift the others? - Which low score is fine for now, given the season you’re in? ### What do you do with your wheel of life scores? Pick one area. The lowest is a good place to start, and so is the one that would make the others easier, like Health when everything else runs on your sleep. Set one goal for it you could reach in a week or two, and take a small step toward it each day. Here’s a goal that size for each area: - Career: leave on time, every day this week. - Health: vegetables on your plate every dinner. - Wealth: no spending after nine. - Social: one real conversation a day. - Growth: three lines about the day, before bed. - Fun: one song, loud, every day. - Self Image: get dressed like someone’s coming. - Home: dishes done the night they’re used. Leave the other areas as they are for now. Chasing all eight at once is how a plan gets dropped by Thursday, so they wait their turn. The guide to [one goal at a time](https://onaglowup.app/for/one-goal-at-a-time) has more on why, and the one on [getting your life together](https://onaglowup.app/for/get-your-life-together) has a checklist for every area. That’s how ONA works: one area, one goal and one small thing a day, for a chapter of 7 days to start. [How it works](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works) has every step. ### How often should you do the wheel of life? There’s no fixed rule. Guides suggest anything from every few weeks to every three months. Score it again after you’ve worked on something, and compare the two wheels to see what moved. ONA asks you to score it again at the end of every chapter: after 7, 14 or 30 days, or sooner if you close it early. ### Is the wheel of life scientific? Not as a measure. It’s a reflection tool: your scores show how each area feels to you right now, and they aren’t a measurement, a psychological test or a diagnosis. What it does well is make you look at every part of your life at once. The idea behind it has some support: in a 2010 study, people who spent their time more evenly across areas of their life, or closer to how they’d like to spend it, reported higher well-being. If an area weighs on you more than a number can say, talk to a doctor or a therapist. ### How does ONA use the life wheel? Your first ONA chapter starts with the wheel: you score the eight areas from 1 to 10, and ONA suggests your lowest area as the chapter’s focus. You can pick any other. When the chapter ends, ONA makes it into an issue, a magazine you turn page by page, and you score the wheel again inside it. ONA suggests new scores from what you did, like the steps you took and the rituals you kept. Its suggestions only ever go up, and you have the final say. The issue’s next page shows where each area started and where it is now, and your next chapter starts from the new wheel, with its lowest area suggested the same way. In between, your wheel is in Settings > Life wheel. The app’s analytics never records your scores; the [Privacy Policy](https://onaglowup.app/privacy) has what it does record. ### Sources - [Paul J. It’s credited to Paul J. Meyer, who founded the Success Motivation Institute in 1960, though nobody has pinned down the year he created it. His company’s version rates six areas, and most coaching guides now use eight. ### Is the wheel of life Buddhist? No. The Buddhist wheel of life, the bhavachakra, is a teaching image about the cycle of rebirth. The coaching wheel only shares its name and its circle. ### Should you score from 0 or from 1? Any scale works if you keep to it. Many guides use 0 to 10. Your first wheel in ONA goes from 1 to 10, and the re-score at the end of a chapter can go down to 0. ### Can you change the areas? On paper, yes, and most guides encourage it. In ONA the eight areas are fixed, which keeps every wheel comparable with the last. ### What’s a good score? There isn’t one. The numbers only mean something next to each other, and next to your last wheel. ### Is there a free wheel of life template? The wheel on the [wheel of life page](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel#scorer) is free, needs no sign-up, and nothing you tap leaves it. On paper, draw a circle, split it into eight slices, and shade each slice from the middle out to its score. ## A glow up plan, one area at a time Page: https://onaglowup.app/for/glow-up A glow up that lasts starts with one area of your life. Score how each area feels, pick the one that needs you most, and give it 7 days of one small step a day, then move on to the next. How you look can be part of it too, under Self Image, next to how you talk to yourself. ### What does a glow up actually mean? It started as rap slang for a change for the better, and online it came to mean a before-and-after of how someone looks. Most people making a plan mean more than that: a body that feels better, money you’re on top of, closer friends, a calmer home and a kinder voice in your head. That’s the glow up this page is about. ### How do I start my glow up? Skip the big Monday start. Score each area of your life from 1 to 10 for how it feels right now (the [wheel of life](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) takes a few minutes), pick the one that needs you most, and write one goal for it you could reach in a week. Then each morning, choose one small step toward that goal, small enough to finish by tonight. That’s the whole plan for the first week. ### What should be on a glow up checklist? Treat this as a menu. Pick one thing from one area for your first week, and leave the rest for later. - Health: asleep before midnight three nights a week, water before coffee, a walk after lunch. - Self Image: one kind sentence to yourself each day, skincare morning and night, wear the outfit you keep saving. - Home: make the bed before you leave, clear one surface, dishes done before bed. - Wealth: see where last month’s money went, cancel one subscription you don’t use. - Social: message someone first, see the person you keep meaning to. - Growth: ten pages a day, fifteen minutes of a language. - Career: send the email you’ve been putting off, write tomorrow’s first task before you stop. - Fun: say yes to the plan you’d usually skip, give an afternoon to something you enjoy. ### Can you glow up in 30 days? You can change a lot in 30 days if you don’t try to change everything at once. Think of it as four short rounds of a week each: - Week 1: score your wheel, pick one area and take one small step toward it each day. - Week 2: stay with that area if it’s moving, or take the next one. Keep one habit from the first week going. - Week 3: start on a new area, or give the same one a bigger goal. - Week 4: give it to the area that matters most right now, then score your wheel again. In ONA those rounds are chapters. Your first is 7 days, and longer ones open as you keep going. After 30 days you’ll have a record of the days you kept, and a newer wheel to hold up against your first. ### How do you glow up mentally and physically? Both are on the wheel. Health covers sleep, food, movement and how your body feels, and Self Image covers how you talk to yourself. For the mental side, a few places to start: - Leave your phone in another room for the first half hour of the day. - Write down one thing you did well before bed. - Catch one thing you say to yourself that you’d never say to a friend, and rewrite it. - Get outside in daylight before noon. Give one of them a chapter first, then the other, and let each evening’s mood and journal line show you how the week really went. ### How does ONA help with a glow up? ONA is an iPhone and Android goal tracker built around this plan. You score the eight areas, pick one, write the goal and add a photo to aim for if you like. Up to three daily rituals run alongside it, and a fourth opens at a 7-day streak. Each morning you choose today’s one thing, and each evening a short check-in logs what happened. When the chapter ends, it comes back as a magazine-style [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue) and you pick the next area. There’s no AI and no face scan in ONA, and no account to make. ### When is something else a better fit? - For a skincare routine: a skincare app, or a dermatologist. - For a workout or nutrition plan: a dedicated fitness or nutrition app. - For a mood board of how you want to look: Pinterest or a vision-board app. ONA doesn’t make boards. - For tracking lots of habits at once with detailed stats: a habit tracker. ### Is ONA a glow up app? It’s a glow up goal tracker for your whole life: eight areas, one at a time, on iPhone and Android. It’s for adults, 18 and over. ### Can I glow up without spending money? Yes. Most of the checklist above costs nothing: sleep, a walk, a clear room, a message to a friend. ONA itself needs a subscription after setup, and the [pricing page](https://onaglowup.app/pricing) has the details. ### How long does a glow up take? It doesn’t have a set length. Give one area a week, look at what changed, and then keep going one chapter at a time. ### Can you glow up in a week? You can make a real start. A week is enough to move one area a little, like getting to bed before midnight or clearing one room, and it’s the length of your first chapter in ONA. ### Do I have to take photos in ONA? No. The photo to aim for and the photo of each day are both optional, and they stay private unless you share a day or an issue yourself. ## How to get your life together Page: https://onaglowup.app/for/get-your-life-together Start with the one area that’s slipping, and leave the rest for now. Score each part of your life from 1 to 10, pick the lowest one that matters, and give it one week: one goal, one small step a day, and a look back at the end. Then take the next area. ### Where do I start when my whole life feels like a mess? With a quick look at everything, before you fix anything. Score the eight areas of your life (Career, Health, Wealth, Social, Growth, Fun, Self Image and Home) from 1 to 10 for how they feel today. The [wheel of life](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) takes a few minutes and shows which area is slipping. Pick the lowest area that matters to you right now. That’s your first week, and the others can follow one at a time. ### How do I get my life together step by step? One area, one week, in four steps: - Day one: score your areas, pick one, and write one goal for it you could reach in a week. - Every morning: choose one small step toward that goal, small enough to finish by tonight. - Every evening: tick off what you did, and write one line about the day. - Day seven: look back. Did the area move? Keep going with it for another week, or pick the next one. ### What should be on a get your life together checklist? Take one thing from the area you chose for this week, and leave the other lines for later. - Home: a set laundry day, one place for letters and paperwork, clear one room. - Wealth: open the bills you’ve been avoiding, move a little into savings on payday. - Health: book the check-up you’re overdue for, cook at home five nights. - Career: clear the replies that have piled up, book the meeting you keep putting off. - Social: answer the messages you’ve left unread, put one plan with a friend in the calendar. - Growth: go back to the course or book you gave up on. - Fun: book one thing to look forward to this month. - Self Image: get dressed like someone’s coming, even on a day at home. ### How long does it take to get your life together? Longer than a weekend, and you don’t need a deadline. One area can feel different after a week of small steps, and you take the others the same way, one after another, at your own pace. ### Is it too late to get my life together at 25, 30 or 40? No. The method is the same at any age: one area, one week, one small step a day. What changes is which area comes first. ### What app helps you get your life together? It depends on what “together” means to you. If it’s appointments and tasks, a calendar or a to-do app will help more, and if it’s money, a budgeting app will. If every part of your life feels like it’s slipping at once, that’s what ONA is for. It’s an iPhone and Android app that gives you one area and one small step a day, and saves the other areas for later chapters. ### When is something else a better fit? - For bills, appointments and deadlines: a calendar or a to-do app. - For a budget: a budgeting app. - For a cleaning schedule: a chore app. - If it’s more than a rough patch, or getting through the day is hard: talk to a doctor or a therapist. ### What if I fall off after a few days? Start again the next day; there’s no need to wait for Monday. In ONA a chapter counts the days you log, so a missed day you leave open makes it run a day longer, and the [safety net](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#xp) covers one missed day a week so your streak holds. ### Should I always fix the lowest area first? It’s a good default. If another area would make the rest easier, like Wealth when money worries keep you up at night, start there instead. ### Can I get my life together in one day? You can make a real start in one day: score your areas, pick one, write its goal and do the first small step tonight. The rest is a run of weeks, one area after another. ### Is ONA a to-do list? No. It gives you one small thing a day toward one goal. Keep your calendar or to-do app alongside it for tasks and appointments. ### Is ONA free? Setting up is free. To start your first chapter, ONA needs a subscription: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. More on the [pricing page](https://onaglowup.app/pricing). ## Why can’t I stay consistent? Page: https://onaglowup.app/for/stay-consistent Plans usually break because the goal is too big, there’s no end date, and one missed day feels like failing. Shrink the goal to one area and one small step a day, give it an end date a week away, and decide now what you’ll do the day you miss, so one bad day doesn’t end the whole thing. ### Why can’t I stay consistent with anything? Three things break most plans. The goal is too big for you to feel any progress in a week. There’s no end date, so the finish line never comes. And one missed day feels like failing, so the whole plan goes with it. Each of those has a fix, below. ### How do I stop starting over every Monday? Start again the next day. Waiting for Monday turns one missed day into a lost week, and makes every restart feel like a big event. Pick it up on a Wednesday if that’s when you notice. ### How small should a goal be to actually stick? Small enough to finish in a week, with a daily step you could manage even on a bad day. “Vegetables at dinner, all week” works as a week’s goal, and “put the greens on the plate first” works as one day’s step. ### What should I do when I miss a day or break my streak? Decide in advance: a missed day means you pick it up tomorrow, and nothing else changes. Writing that down before the week starts takes the drama out of the day it happens. If you keep a streak, allow yourself one missed day a week, so a single slip doesn’t reset it. ### Is it normal to lose motivation after a week? Yes. The first days run on excitement, and excitement fades. A goal with a 7-day end date helps here: you reach the end while it’s still in sight, and the next week starts with a finished one behind it. ### How long does it take to build a habit? It varies a lot. In a study published in 2010, people took up one eating, drinking or exercise habit at the same point in their day, and it took anywhere from 18 to 254 days to become as automatic as it would get. The study ran for 12 weeks, so the longest of those times are estimates. Missing one day didn’t set the habit back in any real way. What moved it along was repeating it in the same context, like straight after breakfast. ### How does ONA help you stay consistent? ONA, an iPhone and Android app, is built around these fixes. Your first chapter is 7 days, and two-week chapters open once you’ve earned 700 Focus XP. You pick one small thing each morning. A missed day you leave open makes the chapter run a day longer and can still be filled in later, and the [safety net](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#xp) covers one missed day a week. Two optional reminders, one in the morning and one in the evening, bring you back. ### When is something else a better fit? - If you want someone to hold you to it: an accountability partner or group. - If you want money on the line: a commitment app that charges you when you miss. - For tracking lots of habits with detailed stats: a habit tracker. - If dropping off comes with low mood or tiredness that won’t lift: a doctor or a therapist. ### Sources - [Lally, van Jaarsveld, Potts and Wardle, 2010](https://doi.org/10.1002/ejsp.674), a study of how habits form in everyday life, in the European Journal of Social Psychology ### Is ONA a habit tracker? Partly. It keeps up to three daily rituals (a fourth opens at a 7-day streak), but it’s built around one goal at a time, with the habits alongside it. ### How do I get back on track after falling off? Do the smallest step you can manage today, and skip making up for the days you missed. If the plan was too big to keep, shrink it before you carry on. ### Does ONA send reminders? Two, if you want them: a morning nudge to choose your one thing and an evening one to check in, at times you pick. ### Will ONA make me consistent? No app can promise that. What ONA does is keep the plan small and short enough to finish, and make a missed day easy to come back from. ## Focus on one goal at a time Page: https://onaglowup.app/for/one-goal-at-a-time Focusing on one goal at a time usually works better than chasing several at once. Five goals split your attention five ways, so each one moves slowly. Choose the area of your life that needs you most, set one small goal for it for a week, and leave the other areas for later weeks. ### Should I focus on one goal at a time? For most people, most of the time, yes. Every goal asks for a bit of your attention every day, and attention runs out. With one goal, each day’s effort lands in the same place, and you can see it add up. A 2012 paper points the same way: detailed plans helped people reach a single goal, but the same plans for several goals at once made those goals feel harder and stopped helping. Habits that already run on their own are the exception. They don’t compete for attention, so keep them going alongside. ### How many goals should you have at once? One you’re actively working on, plus a few small habits that keep the rest of your life ticking over. That’s the shape ONA uses: one goal per chapter, up to three daily rituals in any area (a fourth opens at a 7-day streak), and side quests whenever you feel like them. ### How do I choose which goal to focus on first? Score each area of your life from 1 to 10 and look at the lowest. It’s a good first candidate. If another area would make everything else easier, like Home when the mess makes every morning harder, start there instead. The [wheel of life](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) page lets you score yours in a few minutes. ### What happens to the rest of my life while I focus on one goal? It keeps going. Daily rituals can belong to any area, so the basics can still get a tick each day, and side quests are there when you want something different. Each of the other areas can have a chapter of its own later. ### How do I set small goals I’ll actually keep? Write the goal in one sentence, as something you could finish in a week, then pick one step a day that you can finish by tonight. If you’re not sure you’d do it on a bad day, make it smaller. ### Is there an app that makes you focus on one goal at a time? ONA, an iPhone and Android app, works that way. Each [chapter](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#chapter) has one area and one goal, shown on your Home screen every day, and today’s one thing moves it forward. When the chapter ends, you pick the next area. ### When is something else a better fit? - To concentrate on a task right now: a focus timer or an app blocker. ONA has neither. - To juggle several projects at once: a to-do or project app. - For big goals over months or years, with milestones: a planning tool. ### Sources - [Dalton and Spiller, 2012](https://doi.org/10.1086/664500), three studies of planning for one goal or several, in the Journal of Consumer Research ### I want to change my life. Where do I start? With one area. Score all eight on the [wheel of life](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), pick the one that needs you most, and give it one small goal for a week, with one step toward it each day. Then move on to the next area. ### Isn’t one goal at a time slower? It can feel slower while the other areas wait. Each chapter is short, though, so the next area’s turn comes soon. ### Can I change my goal halfway through a chapter? Not inside a running chapter, but in ONA you can close it early from Settings > Close chapter early, read its issue, and start the next chapter with a new goal. ### What’s the difference between a goal and a habit? A goal has an end: something you want to be true in a week or two. A habit is something you repeat. In ONA, the goal belongs to the chapter, and your habits are its daily rituals. ### What if every area feels urgent? Pick the one that would make the others easier, or the one you’d most like to see move this week. The runner-up can be your next chapter. ## Side quest ideas for real life Page: https://onaglowup.app/for/side-quests A side quest is a small one-off thing you do because it sounds fun, outside your main goals: a new recipe, a cold swim with a friend, a museum on your own. Below are ideas by area of life, for doing alone, with friends, with a partner, at home or at night, and a way to keep track of the ones you do. ### What does “side quest” mean in real life? It comes from video games, where side quests are the optional missions next to the main story. In real life, or IRL, it’s the same idea: something small, a bit out of your routine, done for the fun of it. Nobody’s grading it. ### What are good IRL side quest ideas for adults? Sorted by area of your life, so you can tilt a week toward the part that needs it: - Fun: go dancing, see a band on a weeknight, learn one card trick. - Social: host a dinner, go to a local event alone, write someone a real letter. - Growth: find out the names of five birds near you, read a book off your usual shelf, learn ten words of a new language. - Health: go for a cold swim with a friend, climb the highest hill nearby, try a sport you’ve never played. - Home: rearrange one room, grow something from a seed, hang the picture that’s been leaning on the wall. - Self Image: get the haircut, wear the outfit you keep saving, take one photo of yourself you actually like. - Wealth: have a no-spend weekend, find one bill you can lower. - Career: have coffee with someone in a job you’re curious about, go to a talk in your field. ### What side quests can I do alone? Solo ones are the easiest to start, because nobody has to be free: - Take yourself out: a film, a museum, a long lunch. - Walk a route you’ve never taken, and stop wherever you like. - Watch the sunrise from somewhere new. - Try a café on the other side of town. - Spend an afternoon in a library. ### What side quests can I do with friends? Ones that turn “we should hang out” into an actual plan: - Cook a dish none of you has made before. - Take a day trip to the nearest town you’ve never visited. - Go to a quiz night. - Swap books, then meet to talk about them. - Try a class together, badly. ### What side quests can I do at home or for free? No ticket needed: - Bake bread from scratch. - Have a picnic on the living-room floor. - Write a letter to yourself to open in a year. - Learn every word of one song. - Clear out one drawer and sell what you find. ### What side quests can I do with a partner? For a date that isn’t the usual one: - Cook each other’s favourite childhood meal. - Get off the bus three stops early and find somewhere new to eat. - Learn a dance from a video, together. - Plan a walk that ends at a view. - Take turns planning a surprise afternoon. ### What side quests can I do at night? After dark: - Take a night walk without headphones. - Find somewhere dark enough to see the stars. - Spot the International Space Station passing over. - Find the best late-night food in town. ### How do you keep track of your side quests? In ONA, an iPhone and Android app, side quests sit next to the chapter you’re working on. You write your own, give it an area of your [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) and add a photo if you like. There’s no deadline and no limit, and each one you finish earns 5 Spark XP. You tick them off in the evening check-in, and the chapter’s issue keeps the ones you did. ### When is something else a better fit? - For big experiences to do one day: a bucket-list app, or a notebook. - For plans with friends: a group chat or an events app. - For a whole game where quests drive everything: a gamified app built around levels and rewards. ### Is ONA a side quest app? Side quests are one part of it. ONA is built around one goal at a time, and side quests are the extras around it, for when you want something just for fun. ### Where can I find side quest ideas? The lists on this page are a good place to start. Add the ones you like to ONA as your own side quests. ### How many side quests should I do? As many as you like. In ONA there’s no limit and no deadline, so they wait until the mood’s right. ### What if I never get to a side quest? Nothing happens. A side quest in ONA never expires, so it stays on your list for whenever you want it. ## ONA vs Finch, Habitica and more Page: https://onaglowup.app/compare ONA works on one area of your life at a time: score eight areas, pick one, set a small goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. ONA is a goal tracker: you score eight areas of your life, pick one, and work toward one small goal for a 7-day chapter. If you want gentle company every day, Finch. If you want one thing finished, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Finch: A companion pet and everyday mood support, with a large free tier. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Finch: Many small daily goals at once. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Finch do well? Finch is the app a lot of women already open every morning, and for good reason. You get a bird to look after, and it grows when you complete the small goals you set for the day: drink water, go outside, text a friend. Its store page lists guided journaling, gratitude, mood tracking, breathing exercises and a tree where friends can cheer you on. The part its own users praise most is how much of it is free. The basics don’t sit behind the subscription, so you can use Finch for a long time without paying. And the tone stays kind. The goals can be as small as getting out of bed, and that counts. ### How is ONA different? ONA isn’t a companion, and it doesn’t try to hold your whole day. It asks one question: which area of your life needs you most right now? You score eight areas on a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), pick one, and give it a chapter: 7 days, one small goal, one small thing each morning. There’s a finish line. When the chapter ends you get an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue), a magazine of your week with your photos, moods and numbers, and you pick the next area. In Finch the list of daily goals can keep growing; in ONA, everything else waits its turn. The evening check-in does some of what Finch’s journal does, in less space: a mood, your energy, one line and a photo of the day. If you want long guided journaling or breathing exercises, that’s Finch’s territory, not ONA’s. ### Pick Finch if - You want a pet to look after, and that’s what gets you to open the app. - You want breathing, gratitude and guided journaling in the same place. - You’d rather pay nothing, or pay only for extras. - Friends cheering you on inside the app matters to you. ### Pick ONA if - You’ve got a list of small goals and none of them is finishing anything. - You want one goal with an end date, and a week is a length you can picture. - You’d rather decide the area first, then the goal, than add goals as they come. - You want a photo of each day and an issue at the end, more than a bird. ### Is ONA a Finch alternative? For the goal-setting part, yes: both give you small daily things to tick off. For the rest, no. Finch is a companion with a pet, journaling and breathing; ONA is a goal tracker for one area at a time, with no pet and nothing social. ### Can I use Finch and ONA together? Yes, and some people would: Finch for the daily mood care, ONA for the one goal you’re actually working toward this week. Two apps is one more than most people keep up with, though. ### Is ONA free like Finch? No. Setting up is free, and to start your first chapter ONA needs a [subscription](https://onaglowup.app/pricing): monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. Finch’s free tier goes a lot further. ### Does ONA have a pet or an avatar? No. Your progress shows as XP, a streak, and the issue you get at the end of each chapter. ### Does ONA have friends or a community? No. There’s nothing social in ONA: no friends, no feed, and no sharing except the images of your issue and your daily cards, which you share yourself if you want to. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Finch is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA’s side is what the app does today, and [How it works](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works) has the detail. No prices and no ratings on this page: the stores show those. - [Finch on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1528595748) - [Finch on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.finch.finch) ## Me+ vs ONA Page: https://onaglowup.app/compare/me-plus Me+ is a routine planner: you build a morning and an evening routine from templates, add as many habits as you like, and it times them through your day, with a mood and progress tracker alongside. ONA does the opposite of a full day: one area, one small goal, one thing each morning, for a 7-day chapter. If you want your day scheduled, Me+. If you want one thing to stick, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Me+: A full routine planner that times many habits through the day. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Me+: Many habits, arranged into morning and evening routines from templates. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Me+: Its store page doesn’t mention any. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Me+: A mood and progress tracker. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Me+: A limited free tier, then a subscription (monthly, quarterly or yearly). ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Me+: iPhone, Android. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Me+ do well? Me+ is one of the most used routine apps there is, and it’s built for the “that girl” morning: skincare, water, a walk, journaling, all in order and all timed. Its store page describes a daily planner, a habit tracker, routine templates to copy, and a mood and progress tracker. If you like the feeling of a full plan, this is its strength. Every part of your day has a slot, the templates give you ideas when you’re stuck, and the habit list can be as long as your ambition. It’s on iPhone and Android, with a free tier to try before you subscribe. ### How is ONA different? ONA won’t schedule your day. It gives you one area of your life for a week, chosen from a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel) you score yourself, and one small step each morning toward one goal. Up to three daily rituals ride along, and a fourth opens at a 7-day streak. That’s the whole plan, on purpose. A long routine is easy to build and hard to keep. When the list wins, it’s Thursday and nothing got done. ONA’s bet is that one finished thing a day beats twelve scheduled ones, and the [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue) at the end of the chapter shows you what you finished. The evening check-in covers mood, energy, a journal line and a photo. It closes the day; it doesn’t track every habit’s stats. ### Pick Me+ if - You want your morning and evening scripted, minute by minute. - You want templates and routine ideas to copy rather than a blank goal. - You run a lot of habits at once and like seeing them all in one list. - You want to try before paying. ### Pick ONA if - Your routines keep collapsing by midweek and you’d rather keep one thing. - You want to decide which area of your life gets the week, then leave the rest alone. - You want an end date and something to show for it: an issue, not a percentage. - You’d rather write a line and take a photo each evening than tick a long list. ### Is ONA an alternative to Me+? If what you want from Me+ is a routine planner, no: ONA has no schedule and no routine templates. If what you want is to finally get somewhere with one part of your life, yes, that’s what ONA is for. ### Does ONA have morning and evening routines? Not as a schedule. It has a morning moment, when you choose today’s one thing, and an evening check-in. In between, up to three daily rituals, which you tick off whenever you do them. ### How many habits can I track in ONA? Three daily rituals, and a fourth once you hold a 7-day streak. That’s a limit by design: the point is the one goal, with the rituals alongside it. ### Does ONA have a free tier like Me+? No. Setting up is free, and starting your first chapter needs a [subscription](https://onaglowup.app/pricing): monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. ### Does ONA give me goal ideas? It suggests the area: the lowest score on your wheel. The goal is yours to write, in one sentence, and the [guides](https://onaglowup.app/for) have examples. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Me+ is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA makes you choose: score eight areas of your life, pick one, set one small goal and give it 7 days. If you want to be told what a good day looks like, That Girl. If you want to decide, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. That Girl: Guided morning and night routines with challenges and a monthly reset. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. That Girl: Many habits inside routines, plus challenges such as a 7-day glow up. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. That Girl: Its store page doesn’t mention any. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. That Girl: A journaling ritual, and mood and energy check-ins. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. That Girl: Subscription after onboarding (weekly, monthly or quarterly). ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. That Girl: iPhone, iPad, Android. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does That Girl do well? That Girl: Become a Clean Girl is the app built for the look: its store page promises a “clean girl” morning and night routine, an aesthetic habit tracker, challenges such as a 7-day glow up, a monthly reset and check-ins on mood and energy. It arrived at the end of 2025 and is on iPhone and Android. Its strength is that you don’t have to design anything. The routine is written, the challenges are set, and the monthly reset gives you a fresh start on a schedule. If a blank page is what stops you, that’s real help. ### How is ONA different? ONA starts with a question instead of a routine: which of the eight areas of your life needs you most? You score them on a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), pick one, and write one goal for a 7-day chapter. Each morning you choose one small thing toward it. The routine is up to three daily rituals, and you write them. The reset isn’t monthly, it’s per chapter. When 7 days end you get an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue) of the week, score the wheel again and pick the next area, which might be your career or your money rather than your skin. Both apps have a check-in with mood and energy. ONA’s adds a photo of the day and a journal line, and that’s the only journal in the app: no prompts, no rituals around it. ### Pick That Girl if - You want the routine handed to you, morning and night. - The clean-girl look is part of why you’d open the app. - You want challenges to follow rather than a goal to set. - A monthly reset is the rhythm you want. ### Pick ONA if - You want to pick the area yourself, and it might not be a routine at all. - You want a goal you can finish in a week, and a wheel that shows what moved. - You want XP and an issue at the end, not just ticks. - You want one small thing a day, not a whole routine to protect. ### Is ONA a That Girl alternative? It’s a different way in. That Girl gives you routines to follow; ONA gives you one goal to reach in a week, with up to three rituals you write yourself. If you’ve tried following routines and they didn’t stick, ONA is the other approach. ### Does ONA have a that-girl routine? No. It has up to three daily rituals you write yourself, and the [glow up guide](https://onaglowup.app/for/glow-up) shows how to build a small one that lasts. ### Is ONA the same as That Girl: Routine Planner? No. That’s a separate app from a different maker, a time-blocked day planner. ONA isn’t a planner, and it isn’t related to either That Girl app. ### Does ONA have 7-day challenges? Every chapter is one, in a way: 7 days, one goal, and an issue at the end. The difference is that you set the goal, and it can be any area of your life. ### Is ONA for women only? It’s built for women, and anyone 18 or over can use it. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about That Girl is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA is a goal tracker for one area of your life at a time, in chapters of 7 days to start, with one missed day a week covered. If you’re doing 75 Soft with friends, Her 75. If 75 days is where you’ve fallen off before, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Her 75: A 75 Soft, Medium or Hard checklist, done with friends whose lists you see in real time. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Her 75: One fixed daily checklist for 75 days, from a template or your own. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Her 75: Streaks, and friends’ progress live. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Her 75: Its store page doesn’t mention journaling or mood. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Her 75: Subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly). Its store page doesn’t mention a free trial. ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Her 75: iPhone, iPad, Android. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Her 75 do well? Her 75 is a 75-day challenge tracker made for women, and the challenge is its whole shape: you pick a template, from 75 Soft, 75 Medium and 75 Hard to gentler ones, or write your own daily list, and you tick every item every day for 75 days. Its store page lists a water tracker, and a feed where you see your friends’ checklists as they tick them. The friends part is the strength nothing else on this site’s table has. If you’re doing the challenge with two people you’d actually message, seeing their day in the app is a real reason to do yours. It’s on iPhone and Android. ### How is ONA different? ONA doesn’t do 75 days, and it doesn’t do a fixed list. Your first chapter is 7 days, on one area of your life you picked from a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), with one small goal and one small thing a day. Two-week chapters open once you’ve earned 700 Focus XP, and month-long ones later. The length grows as you do. It’s built for the day you miss. The [safety net](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#xp) covers one missed day a week, so the streak holds, and a day you leave open just makes the chapter run a day longer. A 75-day challenge is the opposite idea: every day, or it doesn’t count. And it isn’t a fitness app. Health is one of the eight areas; the others are career, wealth, social, growth, fun, self image and home. A chapter on your money or your friendships is as normal as one on workouts. If what you want is the original 75 Hard, with its exact rules, the official 75 Hard app has them. Her 75 and ONA are both something else. ### Pick Her 75 if - You’re doing 75 Soft, Medium or Hard and want the list pre-filled. - You want friends in the app, seeing each other’s day. - You want a water counter with your checklist. - You want the same list every day for 75 days, no decisions. ### Pick ONA if - You’ve started a 75-day challenge before and fell off somewhere in the middle. - You want a week you can finish, then another, with the length growing as you go. - You want one missed day a week covered instead of a restart. - The area you need to work on isn’t fitness. - You want to try it for 7 days before paying. ### Is the Her 75 app the same as the Her 75 challenge? The app is a checklist tool for 75-day challenges, with templates such as 75 Soft, 75 Medium and 75 Hard. Challenges called Her 75 circulate separately, so check who’s behind the one you’re following. ### Can I do 75 Soft in ONA? Not as a fixed list. ONA runs one goal per chapter, 7 days to start, plus up to three daily rituals. You could keep three of the 75 Soft rules as rituals, but the app won’t run a 75-day countdown or check that you did every rule. ### What happens in ONA when I miss a day? Nothing breaks. The safety net covers one missed day a week, so your streak holds. Leave the day open and the chapter runs a day longer; you can fill it in later or let it go. ### Where do I get the real 75 Hard? The official 75 Hard app, from the challenge’s creator, carries the original rules. ONA isn’t a 75 Hard app and isn’t connected to either. ### Is ONA for women, like Her 75? Yes, it’s built for women, for anyone 18 or over. The difference is the shape: one area and one goal for a week, not a 75-day list. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Her 75 is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA keeps the game to three kinds of XP and an issue at the end of each 7-day chapter, and puts the weight on one goal in one area of your life. If the game is what keeps you going, Habitica. If the game is what you’d stop maintaining, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Habitica: Turning tasks into a role-playing game with a party, on phone and desktop. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Habitica: Unlimited habits, dailies and to-dos. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Habitica: An avatar with XP, levels, gold, gear, pets and mounts, and party quests against bosses. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Habitica: Its store page doesn’t mention any. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Habitica: Free, with an optional subscription and gem purchases. Its Google Play page says it contains ads. ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Habitica: iPhone, iPad, Android, Web, Wear OS. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Habitica do well? Habitica has been the gamified habit tracker since 2013, and it’s still the one every list names. Its store page describes habits, dailies and to-dos that level up an avatar, gold to spend on gear, pets and mounts to collect, and parties that take on quests together. It’s open source, and it runs on the web as well as on iPhone and Android. That reach is its strength. If you work at a computer, Habitica is there in a tab, and the same tasks are on your phone. If you have friends who’d join a party, missing your dailies lets them down, which for some people is exactly the pressure that works. It’s free to use, with a subscription and gem purchases for extras. ### How is ONA different? ONA has XP too, three kinds: Focus for today’s one thing, Discipline for rituals and Spark for side quests. That’s where the game ends. No levels, no avatar, no gear, no party. What XP does is open longer chapters: two weeks at 700 Focus XP, a month at 2,100. The bigger difference is the shape. Habitica holds everything you do: every habit, every to-do, all at once. ONA holds one area of your life, chosen from a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), one goal for 7 days, and one small thing each morning. Up to three daily rituals ride along. The rest waits. And each chapter ends. The morning after your last day you get an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue), a magazine of the week with your photos, moods and numbers, then you score the wheel and pick the next area. Habitica goes on for as long as you keep playing. ### Pick Habitica if - The game is the point: an avatar to level, gear to buy, pets to hatch. - You want your habits on a computer as well as your phone. - You have friends who’d join a party and hold you to your dailies. - You want everything you do in one system, free. ### Pick ONA if - You’ve set up Habitica before and stopped once the tasks piled up. - You want one goal at a time, with an end date, not a system to maintain. - You want a light game: XP and a streak, and an issue to keep at the end. - You want no ads and nothing to sign up for. ### Is ONA a Habitica alternative? For a lighter game, yes: XP, a streak and an issue instead of an avatar and a party. For running all your tasks as a game, no. ONA holds one goal and up to three rituals at a time. ### Does ONA have a web version? No. ONA runs on iPhone with iOS 15 or later and on Android phones. ### Does ONA have levels or an avatar? No. XP opens longer chapters (two weeks at 700 Focus XP, a month at 2,100), and that’s its job. ### Can I do ONA with friends? No. There are no friends, parties or leaderboards. You can share the images of your issue and your daily cards if you like. ### Is ONA free like Habitica? No. Setting up is free, and starting a chapter needs a [subscription](https://onaglowup.app/pricing): monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. There’s no free tier and no in-app currency. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Habitica is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA tracks one goal for a 7-day chapter in one area of your life, with up to three daily rituals beside it, on your phone. If you want a habit database, Habitify. If you want one thing done, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Habitify: Tracking ten-plus habits, synced across phone, watch, web and Mac, with health data. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Habitify: Many habits, grouped by time of day or by area. Three are free. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Habitify: Streaks, challenges and monthly leaderboards. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Habitify: Notes and a mood per habit. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Habitify: Free for three habits, then a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a lifetime purchase. ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Habitify: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, Web, Wear OS. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Habitify do well? Habitify is the habit tracker the productivity lists keep recommending, and its store page shows why: habits grouped by morning, afternoon and evening or by area, streaks and stats for each, notes and a mood per check-in, challenges, monthly leaderboards, and sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, the web and Wear OS. Apple Health can tick habits off for you. If you track a lot, it’s the one to track a lot in. The data is the product: how your habits go by weekday, by time, by month, everywhere you are. Three habits are free. Past that it’s a subscription, or a one-off lifetime purchase, which is rarer than it used to be. ### How is ONA different? ONA isn’t a habit database. It holds one goal in one area of your life, chosen from a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), for a 7-day chapter, with one small thing each morning toward it. Up to three daily rituals sit alongside, each belonging to an area of your wheel, and a fourth opens at a 7-day streak. That’s the cap, on purpose. What you get instead of stats is a story. Each evening’s check-in adds a mood, your energy, a line and a photo; when the chapter ends they become an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue) you turn page by page, and the wheel shows what moved. [History](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#history) shows each chapter as a band across the month. It’s a phone app, iPhone and Android, with no watch, web or Mac versions. ### Pick Habitify if - You keep more than three habits and want every one of them tracked. - You want your habits on your watch, in a browser, on a Mac. - You want Apple Health to tick off steps, sleep or workouts for you. - You want stats: streaks per habit, completion by weekday, the lot. ### Pick ONA if - You’ve tracked a lot of habits before and it didn’t change much. - You want to pick one area of your life and give it a week. - You want an end date and an issue to show for it, not a completion rate. - A phone is enough. ### Is ONA a Habitify alternative? Only if what you want from Habitify is a few habits done well. ONA keeps up to three daily rituals (a fourth at a 7-day streak), but it’s built around one goal per chapter, not around the habits. ### Does ONA sync across devices? No. ONA is a phone app, on iPhone and Android, and there’s no watch, web or Mac version. ### Does ONA connect to Apple Health or Google Fit? No. You tick things off yourself. ### Does ONA show habit statistics? Not per habit. It shows your XP, your streak, the wheel’s scores chapter by chapter, and History: photos, a calendar and a shelf of past issues. ### Does ONA have a lifetime plan? No. It’s monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. See [pricing](https://onaglowup.app/pricing). ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Habitify is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. You pay once and own it. ONA is a goal tracker: one area of your life, one goal for a 7-day chapter, one small thing a day, on iPhone and Android, by subscription. If you want a clean streak list on Apple devices, bought once, Streaks. If you want a goal that ends, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Streaks: A simple, beautiful list of daily streaks on iPhone, bought once, with a Watch app. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Streaks: Up to 24 daily tasks, each with its own streak. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Streaks: Streak counts. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Streaks: Notes per task. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Streaks: One-time purchase. No subscription and no free tier. ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Streaks: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Streaks do well? Streaks is the habit app the lists keep naming, and it earns it: up to 24 tasks, each a big round button with a streak count, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Its store page lists tasks that Apple Health completes for you when you walk, sleep or work out, timed tasks, and negative tasks for things to avoid. You pay once. There’s no subscription, no free tier and no account, which is rare now and a good reason on its own. It’s Apple only: no Android version. ### How is ONA different? ONA is about the thing the streak is for. You score eight areas of your life on a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), pick one, and write one goal for a 7-day chapter. Each morning you choose one small thing toward it. Up to three daily rituals run alongside, with one streak for logging your days rather than one per habit. A streak in ONA can survive a miss: the [safety net](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#xp) covers one missed day a week. And the chapter ends: the morning after the last day you get an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue) of the week, score the wheel again and pick the next area. It’s on Android as well as iPhone, and it’s a subscription, monthly or yearly with a 7-day free trial, rather than a one-off. A different price model for a different job. ### Pick Streaks if - You use only Apple devices and want the Watch app. - You want to pay once and never think about it again. - You want Apple Health to tick off walking, sleep or workouts for you. - Habits are what you’re after, not a goal. ### Pick ONA if - You’re on Android, or you switch between the two. - You want a goal with an end date, not streaks that run forever. - You want one missed day a week covered. - You want the evening check-in with a photo, and an issue at the end of the week. ### Is ONA a Streaks alternative? On Android it’s one of the closer ones, since Streaks isn’t there. On iPhone they’re different things: Streaks is a habit list you buy once, ONA is one goal per chapter with up to three rituals, by subscription. ### Can I buy ONA once instead of subscribing? No. It’s monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. See [pricing](https://onaglowup.app/pricing). ### Does ONA have an Apple Watch app? No. It’s a phone app, for iPhone and Android. ### How do streaks work in ONA? Every day you log adds one. Miss a day and the safety net covers it, so the streak holds; the net comes back 7 days after you use it. A day you fill in later counts too. ### Can I track things to avoid in ONA? As a goal, yes: “no spending after nine” is one week’s goal in the examples. There’s no separate type for habits to break. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Streaks is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA’s side is what the app does today, and [How it works](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works) has the detail. No prices and no ratings on this page: the stores show those. - [Streaks on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id963034692) ## Fabulous vs ONA Page: https://onaglowup.app/compare/fabulous Fabulous is a programme: guided multi-week paths that build habits step by step, an audio library of coaching sessions, live coaching, community challenges and a gratitude journal, on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android. ONA is the small version: you pick one area of your life, write one goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day, with no coach and no script. If you want to be walked through it, Fabulous. If you want to run it yourself, ONA. ### At a glance - Best for. Fabulous: Guided multi-week programmes with audio coaching, live coaching and community challenges. ONA: One area of your life at a time: score the wheel, pick one, set a goal for 7 days and do one small thing a day. - Habits or one focus. Fabulous: Routines and guided programmes that add many habits over weeks. ONA: One goal per chapter, with up to three daily rituals and side quests alongside. Two-week and month-long chapters open as you earn XP. - Game elements. Fabulous: Streaks and community challenges. ONA: Three kinds of XP, a streak with a safety net for one missed day a week, and a magazine-style issue when a chapter ends. No levels, avatar or badges. - Journal. Fabulous: A gratitude journal and mood tracking. ONA: An evening check-in: mood, energy, a line for your journal and a photo of the day, printed as a card. - Price model. Fabulous: Free trial, then a subscription (quarterly or yearly), also sold on the web. ONA: Subscription after setup: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. No ads, no account. - Platforms. Fabulous: iPhone, Apple Watch, Android. ONA: iPhone and Android. ### What does Fabulous do well? Fabulous is the coached one. Its store page describes guided programmes that build habits over weeks, a library of audio sessions, live coaching, challenges you do with other members, a gratitude journal and mood tracking. It’s on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android. Its strength is that someone has thought about the order. If you don’t know where to start, a programme that starts small and builds from there is a kindness, and the audio makes it feel like a coach is in the room. ### How is ONA different? ONA has no programme and no coach. It asks you to score eight areas of your life on a [life wheel](https://onaglowup.app/life-wheel), pick the one that needs you most and write one small goal for a 7-day chapter, then choose one small thing each morning. The [guides](https://onaglowup.app/for) help with the writing; the app doesn’t tell you what to do. A chapter is a week, then it ends with an [issue](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works#issue), and you pick again. There’s nothing to stay enrolled in. Fabulous’s programmes run for weeks by design, and that’s their point. There’s no AI in ONA, no ads and no account. The evening check-in is where the journaling lives: mood, energy, a line and a photo of the day. ### Pick Fabulous if - You want a programme with an order to it, and audio to go with it. - You want a coach, or challenges with other members. - You want the habits chosen for you, in an order, over weeks. - You like a gratitude practice built in. ### Pick ONA if - You know what you want to work on and just need it small enough to finish. - You want a week, not a course. - You’d rather write the goal yourself than follow a script. - You want no coach, no AI and nothing social. ### Is ONA a Fabulous alternative? If you want the coaching and the programmes, no: ONA has neither. If you liked the idea of small daily steps but not the structure around them, yes, that’s the part ONA keeps. ### Does ONA have coaching or audio? No. There’s no coach, no audio and no AI. The [guides](https://onaglowup.app/for) on this site are the closest thing, and they work without the app. ### Does ONA have programmes or challenges? No. Every chapter is your own goal for 7 days (longer chapters open as you earn XP), and the only challenge is the one you set. ### Does ONA have a free trial? Yes, 7 days on the yearly plan. See [pricing](https://onaglowup.app/pricing) for how it works and how to cancel. ### Does ONA have a gratitude journal? Not a separate one. The evening check-in has a line for your journal, and you can use it for that. ### Where these facts come from Everything here about Fabulous is what its own store pages said in September 2026, not the result of testing the app, so check the store before you decide. ONA’s side is what the app does today, and [How it works](https://onaglowup.app/how-it-works) has the detail. No prices and no ratings on this page: the stores show those. - [Fabulous on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1203637303) - [Fabulous on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.thefabulous.app) ## Pricing and free trial Page: https://onaglowup.app/pricing ONA is a subscription: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. Setting up is free, and the App Store or Google Play shows the price for your country before you pay. ### Is ONA free? It’s free to download and set up: you score your life wheel, pick the area that needs you most and set your goal. To start the chapter, ONA needs a subscription, and the yearly plan begins with 7 days free. There’s no free tier, no lifetime plan, no ads and nothing else to buy. ### How much does ONA cost? It depends on where you live. Prices differ by country and currency, and they can change, so this page doesn’t list them. The App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android show the price in your currency before you confirm, and so does the subscription screen in the app. If a price changes, your store tells you before it affects your subscription. ### What’s the difference between the plans? Only how you pay. Monthly renews every month. Yearly renews once a year, costs less per month, and starts with 7 days free; the subscription screen shows how much you save. Both unlock everything in the app. ### How does the free trial work? Choose the yearly plan and the first 7 days are free. If you allow notifications, ONA reminds you two days before the first charge. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won’t be charged; otherwise it becomes a yearly subscription. The trial is for new subscribers. If you’ve had it before, the subscription screen shows the price without it. ### How do I cancel? Cancel with the store you paid through. ONA takes you there from Settings > Manage subscription, or go straight there on your phone: - iPhone: Settings > Your name > Subscriptions, then choose ONA. - Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, then choose ONA. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep everything until the end of the time you’ve paid for. ### Can I get a refund? Refunds follow the rules of the store you paid through, and the store decides. For the App Store, ask at [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com). For Google Play, see [Google Play’s refund policy](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). ### What happens when my subscription ends? The app shows the subscription screen until you subscribe again, and your chapters, days and photos stay stored until you erase them. Erasing your data or deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription, so cancel it with your store too. ### Do I pay again on a new phone? No. Use the same Apple ID or Google account, and tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen or in Settings. ## Optional - [Privacy Policy](https://onaglowup.app/privacy): What ONA: Her Glow Up Goal Tracker keeps, why, who helps run it, and how you delete your data. - [Terms of Use](https://onaglowup.app/terms): Terms of use for ONA: Her Glow Up Goal Tracker.
